Raw Apple Berry Cobbler
From the Kitchen of Turtle Lake Refuge

Try this delicious cobbler containing healthy berries, apples, dates, cashews and honey. This tasty treat is high in fiber, packed with vitamin C and antioxidants plus good fats and protein from the cashews!

2 cups dates
2 cups cashews
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 cups local apples
1 cup wild buffalo
(or any other) berries
1/2 cup local honey
1 lemon, juiced

Blend all crust ingredients together in a food processor, push into the bottom of a pie pan. Blend all filling ingredients together in a blender, place in pie crust and chill in the freezer until fully set.
