What does it mean to be balanced? Peaceful? Responsible? The contributors to E.P.I.C. are always educating and reminding us that consciousness precedes form. And the readership of E.P.I.C. is engrossed in an ongoing personal process to increase their vibrational frequency.
So what happens when we do achieve these vibrational shifts and become more balanced, peaceful and responsible? I am reminded of two quotes. One from the Dalai Lama in 2009 that predicted, “The world will be saved by the western woman.” And to paraphrase Marianne Williamson: People who consider themselves spiritual cannot stay out of the arena of politics because they believe it is vibrationally beneath them; they must bring their light to the current darkness that exists as the American political system.
Being intuitive, patient and receptive is NOT the same as being emotional, passive and weak. As this issue’s Ask the Oracle aptly points out, the feminine quality of receptivity is not a passive state, but an active one of alert readiness. When I feel into those words, alert readiness, it feels like a remarkable openness that is closely guided by Source’s vision for my life, for our lives.
Of course we each carry both Archetypes of Feminine and Masculine, whether we are in a male or female physical body. So when we speak of the rise of the Divine Feminine, we are referring to both men and women cultivating those powerful qualities. For, as Ask the Oracle also suggests, men are not the only ones who have misperceived what Divine Feminine Power truly is.
But is it perhaps easier, more natural, for that power to arise in a female body? Are women already innately aligned to think in a more inclusive way, taking into consideration the feelings of others? Imagine how that shift to a perspective of inclusivity would change American and global politics.
It is time…
How will western women save the world if we neglect to show up? It is time for women to step forward, fully realized in our power. What has all of this personal growth and spiritual work been preparing us for? Of course there are women who already occupy leadership roles. But are they walking in balance? When we are setting our intentions and goals, are they still influenced by an outdated patriarchal paradigm? How different would the world look if women, balanced in Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine, entered leadership roles en masse?
It is a New Year and a New Time. And that time is Now.
