Goji Berry Bone Broth

Goji Berry Bone Broth From the Kitchen of Lisa Nielsen, Molly Gibson& Linda Illsley

This vitalizing broth fights inflammation, helps heal the gut and tonifies qi and blood.

4 quarts of filtered water
1½ -2 pounds grass fed beef bones OR organic chicken or turkey carcass
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, organic and unfiltered
4-6 cloves raw garlic, peeled and smashed
½ to 1 whole white onion, sliced
Any veggie scraps you’d like to throw in
1 teaspoon sea salt (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
1-2 slices of dried astragalus root*
1 tablespoon minced ginger root
1/4 cup goji berries
